We do not offer a currency exchange service at the hotel. It is important to note that there is no currency exchange in Raiatea.

Most credit cards are accepted. Remember to exchange money in Papeete, €uros are not accepted everywhere, and exchange is impossible on many islands including Raiatea.
Tipping is at the discretion of each person and is nevertheless welcome for an exemplary service.
Prices are fixed and haggling is not customary.
Tahiti and its islands enjoy a tropical climate with an average temperature of 27°C (81°F) all year round, but with a hot and humid season from October to April and a cooler and less humid season from May to September.

There is an 11 or 12 hour time difference between Tahiti and mainland France, depending on the time of day.

French Polynesia is well known for the quality of its health services. The Taaone Hospital on the main island of Tahiti is equipped with the most advanced facilities.
Raiatea has a hospital with an emergency service.
Most of the islands, including the most remote ones, have infirmaries and first-aid stations permanently connected to Tahiti, with the possibility of medical evacuations if necessary. There are no dangerous animals or poisonous insects in Polynesia.
